2025 PRMs Research Collaborative Symposium

The Com­mis­sion on Excel­lence and Inno­va­tion in Health (CEIH) and Health Trans­la­tion SA (HTSA) host­ed the 2025 Patient Report­ed Mea­sures (PRMs) Research Col­lab­o­ra­tive Sym­po­sium at SAHM­RI on 25 March 2025. The Sym­po­sium was co-designed with mem­bers who par­tic­i­pat­ed in an event work­ing group. 

CEIH and HTSA thank all the mem­bers who took the time to help plan and deliv­er this suc­cess­ful symposium.

The theme Patient Report­ed Mea­sures: Inte­grat­ing Research and Prac­tice for Bet­ter Health­care.” was cre­at­ed based on feed­back and advice pro­vid­ed by the work­ing group.

The event showcased:

  • PRMs data for research will focus on data access, shar­ing, eval­u­a­tion, and the bar­ri­ers researchers face in util­is­ing this data
  • PRMs in prac­tice will high­light lessons learned from trans­dis­ci­pli­nary col­lab­o­ra­tion and co-creation
  • PRMs for val­ue-based health­care, empha­sis­ing how they link to health economics
  • PRMs in the con­text of qual­i­ty improve­ment in health­care settings. 

The pro­gram also includ­ed an address by the CEO of Health Trans­la­tion SA, along with an update on the statewide South Aus­tralian PRMs Pro­gram by the PRMs Pro­gram Direc­tor, CEIH.
