What is the Patient Reported Measures Research Collaborative Grant?
This research funding opportunity engages consumers/consumer groups, clinicians and researchers to undertake research in patient reported measures. This will be delivered through the creation of consumer and academic partnerships within health to work together on a research project that builds research capability and capacity in PRMs research excellence.
The objectives of the PRM Research Collaborative Grant opportunity is to:
- support a collaborative research project between consumers, researchers, and healthcare organisations
- embed applied research that has potential impact on health service delivery, through the implementation of patient experience and outcome measures
- build research capability and capacity in consumer-led PRMs research across the health sector in SA
- Promote the translation of research to clinical practice
The Grant is provided by the Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health (CEIH) and is once-off funding for a research project to support and promote consumer-led research in patient reported measures.
To be eligible, the application must be a joint submission, by a consumer and a member of the PRMs Research Collaborative as co-Lead investigators.

How much grant funding is available?
The total grant funding pool is $25,000 (GST inclusive).
